At some point I was playing around with expressions. But I know all of you love the bedroom eyes more.

The interesting choice of showing the evil eye in a bright purple light instead of pitch darkness like the manga. Usually I'd say it'd remove the scary horror factor but I think the anime somehow makes it work with adding to Jijis terrified expressions. https://t.co/EJiY9cvKln

Overall, the atmosphere in this scene is immaculate. The bright face lighting has you tightly focusing on the characters' expressions. Dimly lit and blurred backgrounds so that you focus on how they look at each other. The entire room goes still around them. This is their moment.

⚫Some examples.

I love drawing expressions. And when the characters are angry or suffering or things like that, it's more noticeable. That's why I like to let off steam by drawing.

(Other times it's because I was inspired by some dark or dubstep song xd)

@Seismo_illust I personally prefer looking at the classic DOA expressions when the DOA girls give off a suggestive look in tough situations. For current DOA games, I like DOA5s expressions. It gives off a nice balance of showing pain but it’s not as aggressive compared to DOA6
