I can't blame Gou for feeling really sad right after they went separate ways because I was in tears already 😭

But Ash showing up right there as always to give him some supporting words really shows how much of a senior he is to Gou. That was lovely

Gou is still so inexperienced when it comes to the world, and that is where Ash provides for him a comfort zone, having gone on several journeys.

This part in particular was so sweet, he encourages Gou while also reaffirming their friendship. My tears 😭
