I’ll be posting a new piece for each song on the album. I tried to capture the concept of the songs using text that represented the themes. Using the lyrics directly generated less than ideal results but I mostly wanted to see where the lyrics took me.

WATER

Water was wild, since this was the only line that wasn't finished. I had the term "future", so that's what I went with the most. Previously I had a dinosaur, and a princess, so I tried to think of what represented future well. Kaiju already had the whole 'alien' theme 1/3

Lore for "Descend into the Underworld": I represented the river Lethe, the underworld river of forgiveness, called "Oblivion" in Greek. It was believed that the newly dead who drank from this river would lose all memory of their past human experience before being rebirthed anew.

When your people is consistently represented in such a harmful way or just completely removed from media as a whole, they end up clinging to characters that aren't even their race or even a person at all.

lets talk abt the facts! White people are the main race represented in cartoon media to this day while black and other poc are not or their representation is nothing but a racial caricature or a harmful stereotype.

Steinbell Week: Memento

An excuse to draw the Steinbell family🥺 The pendant that represented Weisz's bond with his mom, and then the bond between Weisz and Shiki (+his friends) now also represents the bond between Trixie and her dads💜

Congrats to you and the buyer!
Such great value for an 'inverted colours' rare

Really liked it because it looked like a desktop globe to me, & represented the international theme we had in the gallery. That's why it was at forefront of our exhibit! Happy for the new owner 🤝🌎

The "infamous" Red Bellied Piranha for this week's Maybe one of the most misrepresented fish ever (along with several sharks). Piranha swim in schools as a means of protecting themselves from larger predators as opposed to it being a hunting strategy. 🐟

i present youuu...mixed sasha!!!!
I made this bc i generally don't feel represented as a mixed blk person with darker skin on the internet. Most mixed ppl ive seen have lighter skin with straight hair which is cool but ive never seen anyone or even a CHARATER like me

Let our dreams be represented through art.
A piece of my 1/1 collection "The Meta Starverse", and how, as a creative artist, I imagine the far away planets that we might visit in the future.
