Personally I find it really helpful to treat it like shading in color. Draw outlines with color, and then round out the forms in gradients, them start to mix them if you want smoother, with fewer brush strokes showing. That's kind of how I did it in this painting.

I radically changed shitpost and now it is called Red Sands. Also, I streamlined saving and dying; cutting out the text and menu to make it a smoother experience.
