Betsy's manner of speaking is heavy on early 1900s slang, and she has an incredibly heavy Jersey accent.Her design was, in it's initial stage, also influenced by fashion trends from around the 50s. I eventually leaned more into my own aesthetic, which is where she is now.

My ponysona with my plush, Gay Lion, (yes that's his name) I got for my b-day back in 2011 from my sadly passed away grown up friend that lived only 2 houses down from me... He sadly lost to cancer back in 2018 or 2017 I think and he was only in his 50s..
@nosam_tktk The most interesting part I realized about Momoe is her name and the character design.
Her name Sawaki MOMOE is based off Marilyn MONROE, a really famous American model in the 50s.
And her character design nearly looked like her.
