@vibe_timeee Tomato Adventure ended on a cliffhanger tho the Artist for it has made redesigns showing that the Game had a chance for a sequel but got pushed aside for the M&L (don’t get me wrong M&L is the best and is one of my favorite versions of the Mario series but a Sequel would rock)
In the manga the reaction to Avan getting turned into a Poké Ball is just a relatively subdued “Master…!!” from Popp (and the chapter keeps on going), but the anime really plays it up with everyone shouting for him (and this serves as the episode-ending cliffhanger)
last issue: "yo we're gonna arrest you now as part of this cliffhanger"
this issue: "lol whoops sorry for arresting you we should've recognized you earlier XDDDDDD, also now we're gonna treat you like the most important person on the planet"

At this point in the manga, Vearn bluntly tells Leona that he’ll make her his own. Perhaps this was seen as too suggestive (or possibly just too vague) to serve as a cliffhanger, so the anime changes it to be a bit more descriptive.
