This is a recent commission artwork done for @parasitoidrex , it’s so great to have the opportunity to work on an insect group which hardly got any art except line drawings in scientific publications! Some of these platygastrine wasps are sooo bizarre and fun to draw!

Based on @kaijingenso's monsters called the Arthroids, I came up with a mix between a cobra and the spiny leaf insect (Extatosoma tiaratum).
While covered with spiny leaves, this monster strikes targets with its four snake-like arms.

@Zhane_Star I'm saying the same thing, not for nothing My FC doesn't have it, and neither does my Sonic Movie-style version of Chamry, I'm just being consistent with nature. I'm not saying it looks bad, but the bigger I get, more incoherent it seemed to me about the nose in insects.
