for the metallic parts i just painted vertical stripes of black, white and blue, uv mapped the meshes and the material scrolls the texture only on the x axis alongside the view vector, it's not a bad alternative to non spherical surfaces that need a matcap-y look

Using a matcap material i can make the earrings look like they are supposed to! the shine and shade follow the camera so it behaves like it was handrawn

髪にmatcap入れてみた+振袖にnormal mapで地模様入れてみた
2枚目はわかりやすく強調しているので実際は3枚目みたいに薄く見えるかな？程度になる予定

スタジオライトのMatcapだとアニメ調ぽくなってイメージ付きやすい（モノクロだけど）

@shouyou49 金にご興味が！？……さておき。テクスチャ隠してのSSなので見づらいですが、Quest対応だとシェーダーをこちらに変えて、テクスチャを二枚当てられるようになるので、二枚目に出したい光沢のmatcapテクスチャを入れると金とかになります。添付はおもちのびるさんが配布してくださったフリー素材です

1枚目は割と自然にラバー感ありますね。２枚目はだいぶ金属よりなのと、モデルの法線が壊れてるせいで、肩回りがジャギるなぁという印象

As reference, this the sort of base I pull out of zbrush and paint over. I'll generally do a main & rim lighting pass. Material passes will be chrome, satin, sketch, matcap and a BPR. I fiddle with if layers will be multiply/ screen / softlight then just paint.
