A watercolour now in the (1; https://t.co/PmsvpexZl8) seems to show some artistic licence, with PC Brown catching Oxford in the act (2) and a mounted Met officer present (3), neither of which were mentioned at the trial.

1840 Edward Oxford attempted to assassinate Queen Victoria, who was riding in her carriage with Prince Albert. The couple were headed to visit the Duchess of Kent, Victoria's mother and unhurt. At trial Oxford was found insane and to be "confined in strict custody." 🎩👑

Another concept artist who worked a TT-Oxford when SMBA was being developed, Tim Webster, did some great backgound artworks for the various loading screens, whilst I provided the characters. We worked together on some of the maps, and a lot of his designs were awesome!
