Been trying out new methods to freshen up the art brain and today I combined the use of a 3D model I posed in CSP and some photobashing for the background with photos I took myself on a hike! Pretty fun

Quickly learning that less is more with this photobashing, so is consistency of texture both resolution and artistic twist between example "Metal ring bug catcher and fuzzy purple grass" Will have to look into foliage bashing or make a brush for grass later.

I feel like I'm finally finding my niche, trying to focus more on horror and bizarre creatures rather than realistic scenes.
I learned how to us photobashing textures to get the gritty feel I've always wanted from my art!

In case anyone is curious about this mood painting for one of my uni projects, this is what my first WIPs looked like! It was a bunch of photobashing and paint overs. The mood and anatomy was very different back then before getting critique. Somehow I still like the original. 💀
