Georges Rogy (1897–1981) Belgian painter. Rogy clearly has a skilled hand in his hazy and soft style of brushstrokes.

I like turbulent brushstrokes 🖋

I’m thinking of making this one into a giclée print 🙏🏻 would anyone be interested? ✨

Mano paints with very loose brushstrokes, creating textures that are evocative of the expressionist's brushwork. The style really goes well with the unsettling themes of their work!

Araki35 paints with loose brushstrokes, evocative of acrylic paintings! The brushstrokes create textures that are unique to each painting, unrivaled by any pre-made texture. When combined with digital texture, it truly is a pop-art!

I've seen video clips of Howson painting.
He stands back to weigh up his next brushstroke, then goes in and strikes in a single movement. Each brushstroke is highly considered and accurately executed. It is at once placing the right colour, form and tone, nothing is extraneous🧐

His vivid colors, simple lines, and bold brushstrokes combine for the high impact of his work; one that embraces the drama and accents the flair of his paintings. Dennis Champlin

Yeah ! When i worked on procreate i used niko rull on the smudge tool, but now i dont use any blur or smudge brush at all, i just keep painting over it until it gets to the quality i want

Youll notice all my brushstrokes are still visible and not blurred out :>

Alice Bailly was also fearlessly inventive. She created a series of paintings in which snippets of wool acted as brushstrokes

Brushstrokes are best when I'm in 'flow state". Too much thought kills the whole thing. Odd thing to balance? 🤔

Obviously it's still getting things wrong, and I'm going through variations and picking the best, but a month ago you couldn't even get a person with just 1 nose and 2 eyes. Pretty alarmed at the rate of improvement. Here's Copley, and Rosa Bonheur. Zoom in on the brushstrokes.
