Iw anted to try to draw something in a time constraint so i settled with Ayme from Baten Kaitos and her dumbass helmet+hair combo.
Sometimes I get asked why I'm in the Pokemon Uranium credits. I was requested to make a couple Mega Pokemon for the game and whether due to time constraints or personal preference, they ultimately didn't get in the final draft. But I still got a nice little conceptual art credit.
Gecko Zentreya is a remnant of the first draft of the script which was twice as long, and involved a gecko invasion of Earth. Due to time constraints, and not being sure if it was thematically consistent with the rest of the video, we decided to save it for another time!

Of course the earliest D&D art was delightfully cheesy, but that speaks more to budget constraints than anything else. Modern D&D art, though technically skilled, is often garish and videogame-y by popular demand. It's loud, over the top, and reminds me more of WoW than Tolkien.
