Here's my source image and different outpts using palette of the image I made (I added the BG separately after the image was ready).

There's dithering in my version because the source material is full of gradients and I wanted to keep them. What would you expect my answer to be?

Was experimenting a little with a bit more of a minimalist pixel art style. This didn't take me a huge amount of time but I think it came out quite well. View full size if possible as the thumbnail seems to mess with the dithering
