In an odd inversion of art block, I couldn’t manage any quick observational studies and instead settled for this doodle of a slug monster whose life is pain, before I have to get the fuck going with my day.

We’ve been really pushing our year 1 GCSE art students to develop their observational skills & getting them to work from real life. It’s been tough but it’s worth it, we love how the textures and markings explored last week are finding their way into these paintings!
