Palmon- grass/poison

Grass Pokémon are pretty simple, especially current-gen ones. Palmon was a no brainer. Changed her proportions around, softened the palette, and used roselia, petilil and gossifleur for reference.

Lost Pokemon of the Day: Petilil evolution

First revealed in a 2011 Ken Sugimori interview, the Petilil family was originally designed with 3 stages -- but one stage was cut because Gen 5 had too many Grass types.

Plant pokemon are my weakness. I love them all.
Leafeon: plant + eevee = yes
Petilil: they're so cool and I love them
Cacnea: look at this precious cactus friend

I should add -- it's not for certain this lost Petilil stage was the family's middle evolution. Though it does seem the most likely possibility, based on the argument I make in my Gen 5 lost Pokemon video linked above (https://t.co/Bnbnm7Do0E).

The leaves on its head grow right back even if they fall out. These bitter leaves refresh those who eat them.
