^ Here's some character art from the same batch. Via Retro Studios' former artist Sammy Hall, circa 2005-2008. In order, he labeled these images "dark gerudo spell," "ghost face," and "beard color." They were on his Artstation page before he deleted it.

Just had a magazine translated where Masuda says: "When Ho-oh & Lugia first appeared on Game Boy, they had time-related abilities, and they were the Pokemon of day & night." Time-related abilities? It's been a while since I've been to Johto... does that ring any bells with y'all?

Back in my day we only had Scyther and a skinny red version of him, and we were all happy with it. Now these Gen Z’ers are runnin around with rock bugs with axes for arms... SAD!

Missing Numbers:

just restocked her Missing Number pins, so now's a good time to grab some before she sells out again: https://t.co/cY760SCC90. Btw, last time I tweeted about her shop, Racie was raising money to move her and her wife to Ohio. Glad to say they made it.

Basculin Origins:

According to Ken Sugimori, the original Basculin was created essentially just as Water-type filler. He says its design was inspired by New York bass fishing (unlike Hisuian Basculin of course). Full interview on creating Unova's Pokémon: https://t.co/VIwd5d6B5w

(3/4) As for the translating, I've hired Nob Ogasawara, the official translator who localized Pokemon Colosseum into English back in 2004. As the guy who translated the actual game, he's definitely the man for the job. He's on Twitter, if you fancy following him.

Apologies. Turns out the TCG art book containing interviews I was gonna translate already has an official English print. And it's still for sale, so it'd be ethically & legally dubious for me to archive it. If you wanna read those interviews, I guess you'll need to buy it ($80). https://t.co/9Mp5JSiEq9
