I think this is probably my most favourite piece of 40K art in the last decade... Assassination attempt on Asdrubael Vect. The segmented armour, the helms and the shiny blades held in a stabbing grip.. So much subtle detail that speaks volumes! 🙏

Did you know octopi can regrow their limbs? I used 's prompt list! Anything more than like this would have to be behinf a privatter, I suppose.

Detail of the head. I wanted to portray the face keratin in a more segmented formation like scutes. I also made the beak and horns longer than what the skull would show because they would have been. Tips of horns would have started curled but would wear with experience.
