I didn't put a white outline on this one because I felt it would take away from such a simple character. Also I used the John Lennon cowboy photo as reference for this one.

Metroid: Zero Mission's concept, box art, and promotional art style favored striking shadows and bold outlines, much like a comic book. This style even influenced some of the in-game sprit work and cutscenes.

We'd love to see this style return to the franchise in the future!
