4. Scott Kurtz's PVP was one of the first webcomics I discovered back in the early 2000s, introducing me to the world of comic strips outside newspapers. I also learned a lot about joke construction and character design from his work.

However, they do not include surface texture and minute shape variation on the surface (hence less precise). The low resolution also allows to easily combine multiple fragmentary specimens into a composite reconstruction and, more importantly, include asymmetrical components 9/n
