The art she sent me as an idea to start off with is on the left, and the right is the quick sketch I did to add some additional fun details and seam lines. We chose the fabric together from some choices I found on Etsy, it's a two tone linen that I think turned out REALLY cool

I really like using script and brush pen for thick/blocky lines. In the unfinished image i used brush pen for the face and script for the hair and for the mini comic I used brush pen for everything. The only downside is brush pen has opacity by pressure which can be annoying

A fun exercise to just do colour in shapes and give up lines. Not sure if these colours work, but I think Sandra’s gorgeous face will help to save the drawing 😝
