I'm still figuring out my own painting process. So far, I mask the area I want to focus on (her green cape atm). Then I use a big brush to define the general areas of light and shadow. After that, I just keep working on it while reducing the size of the brush.

detailed contours in certain areas (like SnS mouth-nose area) while other sections clearly show hori’s typical style which causes a disconnect, a simple fix would be to generally simplify the mouth rendering like in mha vol. 28 or vol. 5
