i think my goal next year to is to work on my global appeal of my art by making my pieces look cleaner and working on edges.

I discovered the crease modifier which lets you tell subsurf which edges you want to keep sharp and I think this could genuinely work for a style now

a lot of the masks have the lower fangs SO i put them on the top instead as horns, along with just bigger, 'friendlier' shapes like the comma - eyes; there'll still be sharp edges, but it's not as aggressive as ... these ... (credit to lastlabryinth @ tumblr!)
