Shading test 1. It's a bit dramatic but I think it works - Might change up the hue though (might just be the sheet)

I wish I could just be done here 💦

also general explanation on how I render

somethings I didn't add in the images, I try to keep my values on the shading colours around the same, and avoid adding shading on parts that are already really dark

also shifting the hue, without a background layer to work with...

She gazed toward the west, where the sun set and cast a beautiful hue across the land.

What time is it? It's HUE time! Join Sans and the squad for a not so educational, not so ordinary quest to save the multiverse against Lord Grayding Gaster! Think they could handle it? Stay tuned, and coming very soon (hopefully) to a full webtoon/comic! 🎨

Little color experiment I did a week ago. No hue-shifting was done in each ramp.

I found such a nice Pokémon Trainer Maker on deviantart. 🥺 It's old, but you can change hue and brightness which is 👌

Look at her~💚🖤💚

Me and the hue color correction layer in CSP might have gotten a little carried away.

I'm not apologizing.

It's not horrible but kinda mediocre in comparison to stuff we got in the past. Idk man add some graffitis to walls and add some hue to the shading, spice it up you know

This is Hue, The God of light and matter! having made many sacrifices ranging from his tail to his sister for the "greater good," his personality and actions would make you think twice regarding his angelic appearance. Hope you find some fun characters :D

Yeah, like these are two colour tests I did on Story of My Life and the flats I put down are the same but with a different color layer over each.

I may have fudged around the hue and saturation after but the trick gets you like 90% of the way.

And this is study number two ! Still working on a piece by and trying to make my brain used to hue and saturation and values cause that's freaking hard (why do some shade of desaturated red look blue ? Oo).

Which one do you prefer so far ?
