Was chatting with @ruecortina about the Super Famicom version of Super's superior boxart, so I whipped this concept up quick in photoshop. (low res, not for printing) I think it could've possibly worked. They didn't necessarily need to redraw it. #supermetroid #samus #ridley

35 years ago today, Super Mario Bros. was released for the Famicom. Nintendo has made an official website for both Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Lost Levels in the USA). The websites include many high quality versions of art seen in the manuals in the game!
