With more and more manga going digital, this isnt the case as much anymore, but traditionally different types of pens were used to draw manga. Which is why you can see a difference in those light, delicate details as opposed to bold, thick outlines. You gotta train to use them

This is interesting. Both of these were from the same outline I drew back in July. Today, I stripped the colours and shading from the original and re-did it to compare the two and see how I’ve improved over nearly 3 weeks of practice and learning to draw digitally.
28. June's abnormally thick outlines are sometimes a problem, she misjudges how much space she needs a lot. Hence why she gets into so many accidents.

I used Clip Studio for the outlines - and I am glad I did because with the brushes for hair and lacing it was much easier to achieve the desired results :D
