Stephen Silver- When it comes to design philosophy and capturing likenesses, I think I'm most influenced by him, his ability to capture someone's face without sacrificing flow is still something I want to get better at. His work on animals is most endearing to me.
Rebecca Sugar- I'd be lying if I didn't mention how RS's early work influenced me, the way that they draw form always intrigued me and their work is imbued with the feeling of grief and complication that really shows in the expressions they draw. I'm a big fan of their comics.

Atsushi Ohkubo was more influential on drawing certain effects, the fire effects and soul squiggles influenced how I draw everything from fire to diaper stink lines. Also got a thing for drawing human-dino girls with cartoonish sharp teeth from his fanged characters.

Hayao Miyazaki. I don't really know any artist my age who hasn't in some way been influenced by the filmography of Miyazaki. Princess Mononoke was my very first anime film and it changed the way I think about what you can do with animation.

1. David Wenzel! him & his wife Jan were my art tutors as a kid, and at points I was basically living at their house, so how could I not be influenced by him?? (I saw a lot of these pieces half finished on his desk :'] ) I think my cartoon-realism style is for sure from him
