Speaking of I truly believe Hori was influenced by the main superhero trio superman, batman and wonder woman for big 3's timeskip design.
Tamaki dressed in all black, Nejire called the "Wonder hero" and Mirio's logo resembling the superman S shape

apparently old fire emblem was heavily (((((inspired)))) by Arion. Well I could see the resemblance.
