those commenting that the original colorist should be credited in a book that was recolored... i DID ask to have Joe's name stay when asked to remove it... in the process i got left out... i also talked to Joe BEFORE i colored it and he gave me his blessing

Retta Scott is an artist who deserves way more credit than she gets. She was the first female animator to be credited on a Disney film doing work for films like Bambi and later on in her life The Plague Dogs. She also illustrated books as well. She deserves way more recognition.

When I was at Dragoncon last summer, I got so many comments about this piece ("Beneath the Surface") from people who had seen it around on reddit, pinterest, facebook, etc, but had no idea who had made it bc it was uncredited. Please always credit the artist when you post art!
