I'm not sure if anyone noticed. But I actually rigged her thighs to get a bit wider and flatter for positions like these. It's something I noticed happens when I sit like this. So I added it to the rig as a feature.

I noticed a Blender 2.83 build has a few new options in the procedraul texturing department, that might make things easier for building NPR hair/eye reflection,without using images, and keeping it stylized for close ups
Here is a quick test on a model.
