This week's staff pick comes from Max, our Head of Special Collections. He's chosen 'Wrenching Times, Poems from Drum-Taps by Walt Whiman,' with original color wood engravings by Gaylord Schanilec & printed by the iconic Welsh press Gwasg Gregynog in 1991. https://t.co/1lVj0UXHOS

BEHIND THE SINS:

Ashley's works are often sketches and doodles done on a whim out of appreciation on works made by various artists mostly from Walt Disney and Studio Ghibli. Here's what she has to say on her chosen sin, Greed.

Stay tuned. 😈

Walt is the only OC that didn't have an Animanics form, but I still wanted to draw him as a Warner like the other characters, so I drew him a design from scratch and it was really fun to draw 🙂

Estou triste. Eu gosto mais da Minnie do que do Mickey, e isso me pegou de surpresa. Espero que ela encontre Wayne Allwine novamente em breve, ou até mesmo o próprio Walt Disney. Descanse em paz, Russi.

I forgot how cool Osamu's characters are. He was truly the Japanese Walt Disney and if you're really dedicated enough to watch Bambi EIGHTY TIMES then I have mad respect for you. It's a shame nobody in America knows him, but at least his work is praised in Japan.
