Decided to try out a more simple design style for a cute character, and this was the result. Bunbun's made for a concept that is.. cluttered to say the least, and definitely needs ironing out, but I like her design enough that I figured I'd share her here.

ok so I iterated a bit and the only one that needed tweaking was spear gal. changed her top to match bow gal more closely.
also tried a render test. I'm not 100% satisfied with it as I'm looking at Jeff Simpson's work on AC for reference. mine feels too cluttered in comparison.

Sonic 3&K's level design is extremely cluttered compared to Sonic 2. Not all levels, but a good damn amount to make the overall game less enjoyable than Sonic 2.
