sure dooo. it's changed more into those thin lines all over the face under the eyes. If I'm doing a blush, I'd not only change the color but also the lines would be cross hatched instead. Plus with just more detailing on the fact if it's colored

what I am doing is having each artist draw 5 pin ups 1 for the... army, navy, marine, coast guard, air force... in simple black and white color page style with an open empty background. I'm then colorizing and detailing them after. Some finished and one ready for me to color

Another quick doodle of Seulgi using that brush I'm experimenting with. I think the brush is more appropriate for gestural forms since it's a bit awkward with detailing and coloring. I'll probably go back to my basic round brush after these lol

The trailer of showed off some pretty neat books with ink paintings detailing Sinnoh's environment as well as flora and fauna. That section was based on the notebooks of Japanese explorers of Hokkaido, who extensively recorded Hokkaido with ink drawings.

For a lot of pieces, I tend to work very zoomed out and try to use as few brushstrokes as possible. The more "expensive" an illustration is, the more time I spend detailing and cleaning up.

WIP update: Progress was minimal, a bit distracted today, but I'm liking it so far. still gotta do detailing (on everything 🥴) trees at the bottom, and....the entire top half of the piece lmao. Slowly but surely, I'm excited for the end result
