This constant self-criticism, self-parody, and emotional vulnerability not only creates a tighter knit community based on respect and trust rather than on fear, but also acts as a direct shield against bad-faith actors attempting to infiltrate these circles

I found some vent art I've drawn a while ago. I feel like it's time to show you these.

Fear, and Self-hatred. I've dealt with these moments and it hurts... It's okay to reach out to people who love you and will do everything to help you. 💙

The beast of winter is raging
winds whipping my skin
feels oh so aging,
digging deep within
wisdom holds dear
I know don’t fear,
tis just natures way
of clearing.

Had a phonecall with my mom and she seemed concerned with me getting hurt by my girlfriend and wanted me to be friends with her. Can't really live my life in fear, as I've acknowledged I could be hurt, but I'd feel more miserable cutting that affectionate part of me out.

I'm well aware that the creator got some nasty messages, if you know me well enough you'll know I'm 100% against that sort of behavior.
People deserve to share their opinions without fear, and yes, they also deserve a second chance.💜

‘The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown.’

As a neuroscientist-let me just say How much I love this scene !🧠we can see the prefrontal cortex is highly active in the 1st pic, responsible for high cognition levels & decision making:but we also see activation of the occipital/temporal lobes(memory, fear, vision)

It is shameful to be a Trump supporter. You simply advertise your ignorance, hate, fear, greed, bigotry by bellowing your love of that degenerate squatting in the WH

But I promise you, I can help you overcome that fear, because my whole approach to painting, indoors or outside, lends itself to plein air, as it’s all about simplifying the subject and moving to finish as rapidly as possible in order keep energy and excitement in your work.
