Shading is technical, because you have to think about lights in a 3d sense, but some artists can do a great job applying shades to all parts of an image. I just focus on edges.

(7) A commission from late '22 - GOOD: Put multiple folks into one piece! They're all fairly proportional with one another and lined well. BAD: STILL FLAT (my biggest flaw) - The bois sitting down look weird and squashed. Shading is a little too soft and doesn't fit their forms.
