I don't know why I did this but I was curious how this would look with black outlines. Because sometimes I see Puyo Fan Art with black outlines. I thought "let's try the opposite, and let's see how it looks."

It backfired, I thought it would look off, but it still looks good.

Anyway thought I'd work on drawing and coloring without the use of black lines. Though I'll admit I always had a problem with not using black outlines

So a few years ago I had a frowned-upon hobby of taking outlines and coloring them in for fun. I never claimed to be the original artist because I'm not.

(The original artist for this one is gone. Can't credit them, sadly.)

I can't draw, but I think I have potential coloring.

Beautiful, detailed drawings with thick, messy outlines (that get even messier when Shiranui hits the ball) and dynamic poses with exaggerated proportions (especially that one at the end) are all incredibly good. The dust cloud made by Kenichi at the start is very nice as well.

Thought I'd say this one last time: I prefer 64/TTYD's story book style, if they remake those games in the new style, I they just need to do this: Remove thick white outlines, make animations more fluid, and use old enemy style (left) instead of the NSMB design (right)
