Something like this isn't so extreme & cringy as your example. It's more subtle, conveys the motion & doesn't detract from the overall image & experience but gets the point across.

Can it be done in linework? Sure, DWJ does it in this example. They're both valid techniques.

I love moments of fateful coincidences. I was checking all the layers of the project before the mint and accidentally opened all the variations of one of the layers at once. I like the way it looks so much and will definitely use this technique in a future project
