i also feel the pixel art was just more colorful. i know so many pokemon are still PACKED with color but the 3d ones look washed out. and while it may be the new lighting, i feel they just dont have the same palette

Her eyes, outfit and accesory colours are almost the same. but not the skin and the hair. I am an artist, this isnt an artstyle or lighting. In the second picture is entrapta in bright lighting, i doubt that drawing is made with the intent of the lighting being like a flashlight-
