i actually love raita's exaggerated proportions too, but sometimes they look wack as fuck. like raikou's proportions look goofy because of her fit while shikibu looks kinda like a fashion illustration? i think it comes into how the proportions play into the design itself tbh

With these last few Sonics I drew I think I've finally got his proportions looking how I want. Im pretty proud of how I've been drawing him lately.
Some more progress. I'm using the MG 2.0 for reference but once I've got everything blocked out I'll be adjusting the proportions to match the original lineart/OVA animation.
