you know what’s severely underrated. the bi crescent symbol. i like it bc 1. it was created specifically to avoid using triangles bc of their association w/ the holocaust 2. they’re not literal with the gender symbols bc bi doesn’t mean just men and women 3. moons kick ass

When children in my workshops are stuck for a character idea, or they don't feel confident with their drawing I often suggest creating a fox from triangles, then seeing where it takes them. I eventually created my own, and it took my work in a new direction ✏️🔺🦊

Sharing my old portrait tutorial again! I always start with the general shapes, working on the geometry of the head. They can be triangles, circles, squares, ovals...I use that as a base, put the landmarks for eyes, nose and mouth and then start working on their singularities.🙂

I is not possible to tile the above pattern with threefold symmetric tiles, if you do not want to cut a triangle in three parts.

The underlying grid is hexagonal. And the edge of those hexagons are in the center of triangles.
