Todays topic was to draw some lyrics from the song Gloria! Since I wasnt able to use my tablet today - again - I tried to keep it simple with hard shadows.

In this case it was just Polypaint from Zbrush. He is almost all flat with some smooth shadows. Materials/Lights did the rest.
But normally I use Substance Painter + 3Dcoat for handpainted stuff.
