So, a couple things that might help.

The camera is gonna rest in the collar bone.
Adjust the clip:start to filter out some mesh.
Use edit mode, and an extra viewport to cut away mesh that's in the way.
Use the camera comp guide to align that center.

most likely not (at least not for now), everything in one texture. 1 - I could make new hair mesh/new unwrap for it, then I have to repaint new hairstyle again. 2 - delete back part, add new tris/place new uvs somehow around, reusing front part and painting new back parts

In 2018 I spent a considerable amount of time badly sculpting a very bald and scared looking Ron Perlman on a base mesh. 2020 I made a whole character from start to finish. Still a lot more to learn though!

I got from not even remembering how to select the right object in Blender, to sculpting a solid head shape for her unique facial anatomy. I'm actually really pleased with this!! I had also modeled a basic body mesh for her yesterday evening
