Pictured: Me watching #ChainsawMan completely enraptured in one of the coolest anime adaptations of this decade
Finished the Dai finale. Ending was a little shaky but that was still a solid way for it to go out. The show slowed down a bit in the final inning, but on the whole this is up there with YYH and HxH 2011 as one of the actual best adaptations of a Shonen Jump title. Hell of a show
When I see all these series I've been reading from back in 2018-2021 getting anime adaptations left and right, I am HOPING to see these ones too.
Give me all the shoujo fantasy in the bag already
These are my favorites among others.
BATGIRL IS NOT A D-LISTER. Barbara Gordon has been in mainstream Batman adaptations since the 60s and she’s arguably one of the most popular superheroines of all time.
all my favorite blonds getting webtoon adaptations in the same year... it sounds like a dream but it is REAL.
@DelcourtBD
That's why usually what happens in anime adaptations of manga panels are either they completely scrap the original layout and turn it into something more conservative,
or do a very mediocre panning shot recreation of the panel (mostly due to the usual time constraints)
I love these creations so much, the creature designs are really cool in all the adaptations.
Skaar’s design in the mcu has to be one of the worst adaptations of a comic book character I have ever seen. All you had to do was give this man long hair and tattoos and you couldn’t even do that.
T is for #Thalassocnus, the swimming sloth! This genus has a lineage that shows adaptations to living in shallow marine environments, like DENSE bones and fancy faces for slurping up sea grass. Yum.
Finished the manga, now I have to move on to watching all the anime adaptations😈💪💪💪

Hang on, the NieR Automata anime is called Ver1.1a?
In the stage play adaptations the difference between YoRHa Ver1.1 and Ver1.1a was largely character genders. Wonder if this will apply in any way to the anime.
@M1847D this publisher is also releasing new conan adaptations, my favorite atm is the frost giant daughter. Also:
Siegfried trilogy
Requiem
Vei
Slaine
The black moon chronicles
Why is it that Porky Pig rapping in Space Jam 2 (A New Legacy) anger-inducing to people, when previous adaptations also played it straight by having the Looney Tunes rap?
And, let's not forget that one episode of the Animaniacs reboot also making Yakko Warner rap. At one point.
Fun fact: Apothecary Diaries is a seinen. Both manga adaptations. The current light novel series is also male-targeted.
But actually the first novel is targeted for the female audience.
Demographic change’s quite common when series switches publishers or in adaptations.
blessed with two medieval-esque shoujos this season, hopefully the villainess manhwas start getting adaptations as well
I really wish ppl talked about this movie more, especially its monster, one of my fav adaptations of a short story
ADAPTATIONS > Sur les écrans cette semaine : Stephen King, Phillip K. Dick, Shakespeare et Akira Toriyama https://t.co/3vvi5UzmlU
