i had in my head the image of shading the pleats of her skirt with a golden red which sparked the composition. ended up working in pixels so that didn't happen. very messy, i just kind of went for it & decided last minute to mix in some aliased airbrushing

Tried a more traditional anime style this time. It's less fun than the style I decided on, but it was fun in its own way. I like the way the face and hair looks here, but I like the feeling of painting clothes more than airbrushing them.
