Fun Friday, with the Aperture Turrets from Portal! Turrets that remain dormant until they see an enemy and expand to gun them down. Like many AI, it is ambiguous whether they are alive or not. Whatever the case, their singing voice is nice.

I’m back with Waira! This yōkai’s pointed hooks can dig up small animals, or into human ribcages, and it works best as a burrowed ambusher and against strength or melee based combatants. Have fun hooking in your players with these ugly beasties!

Fun Friday, with the Hinox from the Legend of Zelda! I also threw in the bomb-throwing variant of Hinoxes from the older games as a fun bonus. If you have need of a dumb brute to harass your players then the Hinox is your guy!

Fun Fr-aturday, with a batch of the bosses you can fight during your first visit to the future. The Guardian requires prioritizing who to attack, while the R-Series work well in groups. And Krawlie. Some fun choices here, so go wild!

Day 6 of the Week of Calamity — Lynels! With a savage strength, patient cunning, and many martial options, this classic red lynel makes for a great dragon substitute in a Hyrule setting as a fearsome and memorable fight.

Day 4 of the Week of Calamity; we return to monster statblocks with the Yiga Clan! From lowly soldiers to the stupendous chief himself, the Yiga make for a great early antagonist and a reoccurring threat that serves your big bad.

Day 2 of the Week of Calamity are the Gorons and the Gerudo! Both of these races in BotW are primarily merchants with a few great warriors and a complex culture, so there are lots of options for a fun character with either of them.

In anticipation for Age of Calamity, I am doing a week of Breath of the Wild themed content! Today we have two races: Hylians and the Sheikah, our LoZ humans. These are my first homebrew races, so tell me what you think.

Hope that this one works. I was trying to do the art for a homebrew monster statblock (DnD 5e) with this one.

Another in my Chrono Trigger series: the Dragon Tank! The tank requires strategic targeting of different parts in the right order much like in the game, so make sure that players are aware they can (and should) target different parts.

Kobolds are one of the most iconic creatures in DnD, and the Cobalt Book of Kobolds has everything you need as a player or a DM to live your best Kobold life! This book is jam packed with statblocks, traps, new equipment, and more!

A conversion of the Attic Whisperer from Pathfinder! One of the creepiest — and most tragic — monsters in the Pathfinder bestiary, this monster is a perfect creepy encounter for a decrepit building and a great opportunity for worldbuilding.

Fun Fr-onday, a collab with familiar.foes on Instagram! SCP-4975 — a personal favorite SCP since I love creepy old folk monsters; check out its entry on the SCP website to learn more.

Hey, the bard’s looking a little sus. Fun Fr-unday, with a trend that I’m joining fashionably late. This was pretty interesting to try and put into a fantasy setting. Who knows, maybe there’s an adventure to have regarding what they are.

The Daitengu: the more popular interpretation of the tengu, most well known for their distinctive red face and long nose. In folk tales, these yokai have been both mentors and monsters, making them a versatile option for an NPC in your campaign.

The Monitor, an entity sent to crush the ripples of chaos and enforce the ordained flow of fate. Commissioned for a statblock set coming soon. 👀#dnd5e

Prince Aestval of Orchidthorne. An Eladrin noble of the Summer Court and the first boss my players took down. I got to use the Orchid Count statblock from 's Strongholds and Followers, which I highly recommend.
