While I can definitely understand why Matt Reeves would start his trilogy with more "grounded" villains like Penguin and Riddler, I hope that it doesn't mean that we won't get more "fantastic" villains like Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze, Man-Bat and Clayface on sequels.

And as for Riddler, I can definitely see it. I imagine them going in an Arkham series direction with him - being a genius computer hacker who tests Batman from behind a screen for his own ego - and I think that’d be really fun and fresh - but again, still rooting for Clayface.

Personally, I’m rooting for Clayface. I think Jonah could absolutely NAIL him as a character - a pompous actor who is transformed into a monster that allows him to disguise as anyone but loses his own identity. I could really picture him running away with the role in a great way.

Finally reading Tynion's run on Detective Comics. I love the way Eddy Barrows draws Batwoman (although I'm not sold on the buzzcut).

Also I dunno what they were thinking putting Clayface on the team, but kudos for doing that.
