Sterling has a lot of ocean/sailing themed tattoos because of his love for the ocean and the fact that he used to be part of our campaign's equivalent of the Navy
He also has a wolf tattoo on his right hand that's a reference to his closest friend, who is a werewolf

To this day my favorite Gengar is still the one from the Gen 2 sprites. I love how it's pretty much just a looming silhouette with Gengar's signature facial expression, it's such an effective and elegant utilization of the design's simplicity
