I drew this ages ago I wish i had the ocean crawler references back then but I think it turned out alright, but if I were you I’d find as many Ref images as you can, in the original tall tales that came out there are skellies with coral on them which would be excellent references

I made another character called ‘Patsy’ she doesn’t talk so the crew put name suggestions in a hat and picked one and now she’s know as patsy; I used the so far unused concept bottom right of this concept art page for skellies👹
