Well in ibisPaint I know there are these stippling pen type things that I’d occasionally use to shade hair. Here’s some examples of me using it ig. If you do it right it’s easy, though I don’t think it can be done wrong.

I carry my Glock 19c too often so that the stippling is all rounded up. So I decided to redo it and make waffle pattern this time. Waffle is the one effective pattern that is also fairly easy to maintain.
