I get to swim with broadnose sevengill sharks in the open ocean tank as a dive volunteer at . Super chill, they mostly hang out in the upper area of the tank and ignore me. Sevengills are the only shark on the west coast with seven gill slits.

For I chose to do a quick drawing of an Opah (took some liberties with colors). Currently it is the only known endothermic fish - that is it can keep its body at a higher temp than its surroundings.

My is of a spotted archerfish (Toxotes chatareus), which has the ability to shoot water a distance of almost 5 ft out of the water, and can target its prey items just as far away! They can also recognize human faces, and this one is happy to see you :)
