Shippers and shills, the wrath of the High-King knows no bounds. I summon the host of the Noldor to call out any of this degeneracy when you see it. We must show and defend his legacy. Do not let these foul heathens pervert the beauty of Middle-Earth.

King Thrór! He's one of the most tragic (dwarven) characters in the entire tolkien legendarium, and also... look at him!!! https://t.co/iWCh05ceqY

The Silmarils herealdic device – my redraw of Tolkien's own heraldic design. Made for Inktober 2021 prompt "Crystal"

J. R. R. Tolkien invented a whole system of elvish heraldry, but there is only one known device that is designated for objects instead of a person: the Silmarils.

Expression practice with Mairon! Partly bc I wanted to draw something not sad but not humorous, partly bc I saw someone say red-haired Mairon is overrated... so clearly the answer is I need to make more! 🤣

Late Night Clyde Caldwell’s painting 'Dragon Spell' even made Tolkien fans get that funny feeling…

It was licensed for use in a documentary appearing in the Extended Edition DVD of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Because EVERYONE loves LNCC…
